Thought I would share a few photos from the February Final Friday at the Pendleton Arts Center. It was a great night and we had quite the crowd come by the studio. I managed to get a few photos snapped, check them out:

I’m so excited. This was a piece I made in early January. I have been pondering
the best way to finish it and have just started to paint it with underglazes. The bird is
a separate piece that is held in place atop that stack of carved books with a wooden post.
It’s the largest piece I have made in this series so far and I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s finished.

This is a cool shot. It gives you a different perspective on the bird. I had fun
teaching these two teens how to make clay books in the studio.
