Upcoming Exhibitions: NINE at The Carnegie

It’s been a busy time at the studio, lots of great things in the works, among which is my participation in The Carnegie’s upcoming gallery show NINE which is opening in just a few weeks on Friday, Nov. 16th.

In addition to myself, NINE will include the work of eight other artists and will include a variety of mediums from glass and ceramics to mixed media, painting and sculpture.  My work will be on display in The Carnegie’s main gallery on the first floor along with artists Scott Dooley, Carrie Longley and Kimberly Anderson.

Here’s a little peek of some of the pieces I am working on for the show:

IMAG1640 | Terri Kern Studios | Pendleton Art Center Studio 511  IMAG1603 | Terri Kern Studios | Pendleton Art Center Studio 511

IMAG1613 | Terri Kern Studios | Pendleton Art Center Studio 511

If you can make it out, there will be an opening reception from 6-9pm on the 16th with light hors d’hoeuvres and a cash bar. Admission is just $8 for the general public, $5 for seniors and students and free for Carnegie members and kids 12 and under.  If you can’t make it that night, the exhibition runs through Dec. 21 and is free visit after opening night during gallery hours (Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm, Saturday, 12pm – 3pm.)

You can find complete details over on the gallery page of The Carnegie’s website.

Hope to see you there!
