Just a quick heads up that this Sunday (Nov 4th) is the Clay Alliance’s annual Empty Bowls fundraiser for the Freestore Foodbank’s Kids Café afterschool program.
It’s taking place at the Bell Event Centre in Over-The-Rhine and includes a soup-line style lunch prepared by local chefs. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to select a handmade bowl created by a Clay Alliance artist to take home.
The fundraiser will also include pottery items for sale as well as a silent auction, entertainment, clay demos and more.
If you are thinking about attending, tickets are just $23 for adults and $6 for children (food only) with three ticketed seating times available: 11:00am-12:30pm, 12:30pm-2:00pm and 2:00pm-3:30pm. Tickets are available through the Clay Alliance website at www.clayalliance.org. You can also get tickets at the door, but they have a tendency to sell out so you might want to buy them online and not risk it.
